Abstract

Biomedical investigations are performed to better understand living organisms, what is wrong with them, and how to prevent or treat diseases. The methods investigated in medical research are initially tested in the laboratory and on animals. Just prior to widespread use, it is necessary to test them on humans. Recently, certain regulations were created to standardise these studies. To our knowledge, there has been no study investigating the infrastructure of scientific studies in Turkey. Therefore, as the assembly of experimental studies, we conducted a survey to investigate the infrastructure of experimental studies. The results of this survey revealed that there are certain limitations both in the infrastructure and the trained scientists.
