A case of secondary tuberculosis of the tongue in a 32 year- old male patient is presented. The histopathological examination of biopsy specimens obtained from this lesion revealed caseating granulomas, leading to a possible diagnosis of tuberculosis. The sputum smear and culture were positive for acid-fast bacilli and the patient was diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis. The involvement of the tongue was thought to be an extrapulmonary manifestation of the pulmonary tuberculosis.
